"Mischief Is My Middle Name!"

This was our latest lesson with Lynn Ferris. I did okay until I gave him a black eye and let him play with his big sisters lipstick! Portraits are way down the road for me, if ever. The suggestion of a face/person works much better for me than to try to capture the essence of them let alone getting their features correct! Was fun to do - and this has green, blue and pink under the "foundation". Can't wait to see what this weeks lesson will be!

Hi Andrea!

I thought portraits would always be out of reach as well, but it's amazing what happens when it finally clicks! Don't give up. Keep working on still life for now, but sooner or later, you'll find a way to move into portraiture.

Thanks, Kristen! I would have loved to have taken Laurie Goldstein-Warren's class - I sure like how she does people!!! One of my friends took it back in August and said it was just a wonderful class!!! Yep, I'll stick with still lifes and trains for awhile longer!!! Thanks for checking in! See you in November!!!
