I'm so excited! This class begins today at Washington Street Artists Cooperative! Frank's photography looks like oil paintings on canvas! And he is so nice, patient and kind - will be a great teacher to learn from! I bought new Canon Rebel t3i on recommendation of Laurie Goldstein-Warren. I'm a point and shoot gal and just can't figure out what all these settings are for and how they work! The better photographs I take, the better my paintings will be, so bring it on!!! Thank you Frank and Laurie!!!

Beautiful show "What Delights The Eye" was held in spite of the sad news that one of the 3 awesome women participating in the show died unexpectantly earlier this week. Her family graciously brought in her artwork so she could still be part of the show. Amy George will be sorely missed by all of us at the gallery as well as the multitudes of people her love touched. Fantastic turnout to support the family of this incredible woman. The outpouring of love for this woman was wonderful. She has done more for the art community than any person before or after her. She will be dearly missed and her legends will live on! Today was one year anniversary celebration of this awesome gallery that I am so tickled to be a part of!!! We're open Wed-Sun Noon til 5 pm. Located in the Charles Town Visitors Center on N. Liberty.
