These are ready for the next time I change out artwork. Have been trying some new things - landscapes, animals, bugs....it's been fun and I've learned a lot. It's time for me to paint slowly as if I am entering juried shows and be the best that I can be again. Painting for clothes was a wonderful experience - no rules, judges, etc., - just fun designs for clothes. Need to get back into the "game". In the meantime, I'm hoping these animals might be a welcome addition to children or grandchildren and their bedroom walls!

Van Gogh Exhibit

I had the pleasure of seeing the Van Gogh Exhibit in Raleigh, NC with a dear Friend. It was SO amazing! Large replicas of his famous paintings with lots of story boards throughout the exhibit. A room with surround video of paintings melting from one into the next with music created solely for this exhibit. Then a virtual tour where paintings are three dimensional and you glide through them as if on a hang glider at Disney World! They even had a room where you took a drawing of one of his pieces and colored it in with color crayons - was for the kids, but Cindy and I did it just for fun! Wonderful!!!
