"Native American Dancer"
What an incredible class!!! I totally LOVE her style of painting and choice of colors. And she gives so freely of herself with helpful tips on every aspect of being an artist! I can't wait to take some photos - thinking Civil War Reenactments; maybe Williamsburg??? Costumes make for so much more of a story! I'm going to enjoy watching Laurie get the recognition she deserves - nationally and internationally! She's the best!!!
Shepherdstown Street Scenes
Ah, this is the last of the paintings I wanted to do for the upcoming Potomac River Artists' Guild! These are also using Karlyn Holman's style. I'm declaring it Karlyn Holman week! Hope to meet her some day - it's really fun using her free style and so different than my norm!
Painting for Susan Ford Pritchard Show
"You Are My Sunshine"
This was a very fun painting to do using Karlyn Holman's techniques.

Another project with Lynn Ferris
This was fun moving paint around the kitty - some wet into wet, some partially wet, trying to get blossoms on purpose! And I love negative painting for the leaves. Here's one for you, Sheldon! :-)
Art at the Mill Fall 2012
So excited to be a part of this show! This is the first time I've entered, and it sold! Yay!!! I'll play again at the next show in the Spring!!! Perfect setting for an art display - fabulous surroundings, many, many talented artists!!!
Works in Progress
"Asylum Exhibit and Reception"
Great turnout for a fabulous show AND book signing by Rip Smith! The exhibit will continue throughout the month of October. We are open Wed-Sun 12-5 pm. Located in Charles Town on N. George St - across from the Courthouse.
Another fun class with Lynn Ferris. I'll miss this weeks as I'll be on a bus tour with WCMFA to the art museums in Philly! Just two more left after that before she heads back to Florida. I will certainly miss her and so grateful for all she has taught me and continues to do so!
