I attended the first of eight artist receptions at the MacCallum More Museum and Gardens. This month's artist is Rabiah Seminole. Her inspiration of most of her works comes from her love of animals as Director and Founder of the Blue Horse Mukwa Equine Retirement and Rescue Center. Here are some photos of her and the reception.

This is a video of Lynn Ferris, my all time favorite Teacher! I took classes from her for many years and give her much credit for getting me to where I am at today! This is like saving a little piece of her forever!!! Thank you, Lynn!!!! I'm so excited! I finished the first 6 paintings in my new series, "Life on the Lake" and took them to the Galleria on the Lake in downtown Clarksville to see if the owner would be interested in selling my artwork. She just loved them and is going to offer them for sale in her lovely gallery. She also wants the train paintings I have left from "Full Steam Ahead" show, and I'm making boxes of cards to sell for both series. As I left she said, "please keep painting!" Life has a way of working out so beautifully if you follow your dreams. I just couldn't be happier here - the small town of 1200 people goes out of their way to meet, greet and welcome newcomers. Our neighborhood is fabulous - never lived in a place where folks love to get together at the drop of a hat and entertain as often as possible. Our kayak is waiting for Spring to go out and play. Every morning we wake up and think we have died and gone to Heaven!
