This honestly is nothing to write home about, but it's the first painting I've done in 8 long months of packing, moving, goodwilling, cleaning, unpacking, more goodwilling and lots more cleaning! This was a great exercise in negative painting which I really like to do, Lynn Ferris was the first to teach me, and Sterling Edwards the last!
So, welcome 2014!!! I have 4 paintings in the works of scenes from our new hometown of Clarksville, VA! I will post them as I finish them. Finally have a routine going with lots of time to paint! I'm HAPPY!!!
2014 is off to an excellent start! 365 blank pages of brand new book to fill!!! Happy New Year, indeed!
